George Nutt, 69, of Petersburg WV was born on August 24, 1947 and passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016. Mr. Nutt was a graduate of Harrisville High Scool. He was a member of the American Legion Post 78 where he served as the Post Adjutant and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Nutt was an Independent X-Ray Contractor for 40 years and he was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He was married to Opal. Mr. Nutt's family will receive friends on Monday January 11 2016 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg WV. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 12 2016 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens Petersburg WV with Military Graveside Services conducted by The Grant County Veterans Honor Guard.
