UPPER WEST FORK VFD RESPONDS TO WALKER ROAD FIRE - Occupant Suffers Injury

The Upper West Fork VFD responded to a fire call at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at 1884 Walker Road, the former Rose Jarvis residence. Firemen said the occupants had brought the fire under control before their arrival. Reports indicated a person from the residence experienced a knee injury with Minnie Hamilton EMS responding, but the individual was not taken to the hospital. The incident occurred as the temperature was dropping and road conditions were becoming hazardous.
