He was born May 16, 1938 in Calhoun County WV, son of the late Ernest Ray and Jessie E. Bell Husk.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from the Bureau of Public Debt. He enjoyed hunting and traveling throughout the 50 states and to China.

Robert is survived by a step-daughter, Wendy Gibson Mills (Joe) of Brohard WV; a step-son, Brian Gibson (Kelly) of Vienna WV; and a granddaughter, Rachel Ann Gibson also of Vienna.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Eyvonne Jean Husk.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg with Rev. Greg Markins officiating. Burial at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
