SEARS WILL APPEAR FOR HEARING REGARDING SEXUAL ABUSE CHARGES - Four Other Felony Cases

Calhoun Circuit Court will be in session Wednesday with Judge Thomas Evans III presiding. Court starts at 9:30 a.m. Dennis Sears, 34, of Nicut will appear for a pretrial hearing related to an indictment that says he engaged in sexual intercourse and sexual contact with a juvenile in his care that was eleven years of age. Ryan Abramovich, 28, and Adam Parsons, 35, who were indicted on one count of malicious assault, a felony, and one count of conspiracy, a felony, are on the docket for a pretrial hearings. It is alleged that the pair attacked Billy Ray Hardway at his home on the right fork of Crummies Creek on February 4, 2015. Douglas Cecil Lynch, 42, of Creston, is set for sentencing related to what State Police said was a $2.6 million marijuana grow operation on Little Creek in 2011. Danny Lockhart, 59, of Creston, will appear for a pretrial hearing related to an indictment for manufacture of marijuana and sexual assault. Cases are scheduled related to indictments by a Calhoun Grand Jury Tuesday. Eight juvenile cases are on the docket.
