CALHOUN'S NATURAL GAS PRODUCTION REMAINS STAGNANT - Doddridge Leads State With Marcellus/Utica Boom

Calhoun County, according to the WV Geological and Economic Survey, has 2,458 oil and gas wells, mostly old producers.

The leading gas producing counties were Doddridge, Harrison, Wetzel, Marshall, Tyler and Ritchie, ranging from 239,000,000 mcf in Doddridge to 39,000,000 in Ritchie County.
