Francis D. "Frank" Carpenter, 73 of Spencer, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at CAMC-Memorial Hospital, Charleston. He was born September 4, 1942 at Monroeville, Ohio, a son of the late John and Leota Mae Bowers Carpenter. Frank worked as a landscaper, and loved hunting and the outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Alvin Carpenter. Survivors include his daughter, Tracy Husk of Palestine; Sister, Janis Isaac of Spencer; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Justin S. Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Husk Cemetery, Arnoldsburg.
