BOY FRIEND ASSAULTS WOMAN - Charged With Domestic Battery

State Police arrested a South Calhoun Highway, Grantsville man over the weekend and charged him with domestic battery. John Rhondal Posey, 36, is in Central Regional Jail. Cpl. J. B. Hunt responded to a residence where the victim, identified as Kira Lynn Brown, had reportedly been assaulted by her boyfriend. The criminal complaint says the woman was allegedly choked, bitten, and had been struck in the face.
