Dee Truman visits Clovis Drexel Ice's grave at Arlington
Roane County resident Cheryl Summerfield, who worked for many years with Calhoun native Clovis Drexel Ice at the WV Division of Veterans Affairs, described him as "a wonderful and humble man, a national treasure."
Ice was a decorated military veteran.
Summerfield said, "One of my dear friends Dee Truman got to know and respect him as much as I did. He was very special to her."
Over the weekend Dee Truman went to Arlington National Cemetery to his grave site, adorned with one of the "Wreaths Across America."
