SCHOOL BUILDING AUTHORITY FUNDS $1.09 MILLION FOR CALHOUN MIDDLE-HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS - Roane And Wirt Receives Funding

The West Virginia School Building Authority has approved 15 projects for the approximately $56 million available in this year's funding cycle.

Calhoun Middle-High School received $1.09 million for renovations to the building.

The project calls for ​HVAC renovation and roof replacement at the school.

Roane Schools received $970,000 for a ​physical education addition at Spencer Elementary School.

Wirt Schools received ​ $2.2 million for roof replacement at two schools.

The SBA declined to fund a multi-year funding plan for Fayette County schools.
