GOLOSOW CHARGED WITH MURDER - Feds Drop Charges, Moved To Central Regional Jail

A Roane County man who was being held on federal drug charges is now charged with murder. Forty-seven-year-old Alex V. "Tattoo Vince" Golosow of Tariff, who has used other names,was arraigned in Roane County Magistrate Court yesterday on a murder charge.

He's accused in the shooting death of Justin Reed, 52, of Roane County, whose decomposed body was found on Pisgah Ridge near the Town of Clay. The body was reportedly dumped there by associates of Golosow.

Investigators haven't said what the motive could have been.

Golosow's federal charge of possession with intent to deliver has been dismissed. He was released today from South Central Regional Jail in Charleston, and is now being held in Central Regional Jail in Flatwoods on the murder charge.

Bond has not been set.

A spokeswoman with the US attorney's office has declined to comment on the reason for the dismissal of the federal charge.
