Mabel Janett Hunt, 77, of Leroy, West Virginia, died Sunday, December 6, 2015 in the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. She was born September 8, 1938 at Tariff WV a daughter of the late Willie Albert and Mildred Maxine May White. Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker and a foster parent to 56 children. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardening, watching movies and spending time with grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Lovell Hunt of Leroy; three sons, Richard Price, William Price, Jr. and Bryan Price all of Akron OH; two daughters and son-in-law, Shawna and Patrick Heffernan of Akron OH and Keristen Hunt of Huntington WV; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Conley of Ft. Wayne IN and Mary Withrow of Creston OH; two half-brothers and three half-sisters. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Robert Keen officiating. Burial will be in the Laughlin Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
