WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Third Times A Charm

(12/09/2015)
MAN FIRES OFF GUN - Monongalia County police arrested Joesph Gunnoe on wanton endangerment after he apparently fired about four shots.

Police say that an argument between some people was taking place when Gunnoe fired the shots. It's unclear whether they were aimed at people or not.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Gunnoe then went to a residence and attempted to break into a cottage located in the backyard. A resident at the place, however, struck Gunnoe in the head with an object.

Gunnoe left the scene before authorities arrived. Police found him apparently returning to the scene.

Gunnoe was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

THIRD TIMES A CHARM - Three gas stations were held up in Huntington Tuesday.

The first was reported Tuesday morning at the Speedway, an attempted robbery and the suspect did not get away with anything.

The second robbery was reported just after noon at the Marathon in Guyandotte. This was another attempted robbery, according to police. They say the suspect was armed with a gun, but did not get away with anything.

A few hours later, just after 4 p.m. the Rich Oil Station on Bridge Street in Guyandotte was robbed and the suspect was able to get away with cash in this robbery.

It appears to be the same suspect at all three scenes.
