Gary Allen "Cook" Starcher, 60, of Looneyville, West Virginia died Saturday, November 30, 2002 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston.

He was born at Milo, a son of the late Ellis and Betty Nicholson Starcher. He was a construction worker and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Starcher; one son, Gary Starcher II of Delaware; three daughters, Cheryl Rotondi of Orlando, Florida, Sherry Starcher of Kanawha County, WV and Christina Starcher of Roane County, WV; three brothers, Glenn Starcher of Ravenswood, WV, Ray Starcher of Looneyville and Wayne Starcher of Spencer, WV; two sisters, Pauline Bissell of Looneyville and Phyllis Boggs of Tariff, WV; and five grandchildren.

Service was Tuesday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home with Pastor Garry Bowen officiating. Burial was in Wayne Cemetery, Calhoun County, WV.
