Virginia Lea "Jenny" Starcher, 55 - Glenville

Virginia Lea "Jenny" Starcher, 55, of Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life Monday morning November 30, 2015 at her residence following a difficult battle with cancer.

Jenny was born on April 22, 1960 in Lodi, Ohio, daughter of the late Victor Metz and Alice Ruth Barnett Roberts of Glenville.

Jenny was a homemaker who loved caring for her family, spending time with friends, spoiling her granddaughter, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was a graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 1978, and enjoyed spending her spare time crocheting, camping, cooking, and going to yard sales.

On August 18, 1979 she was united in marriage to Stanley Starcher, who survives at their Glenville home.

Surviving are 4 children, Stanley Starcher Jr., Jason Wayne Starcher, and Alison Starcher, all of Glenville, WV, and Michele Starcher of West Monroe, Louisiana; 1 granddaughter, Chloe Starcher of Glenville, and 1 sister, Jeanne Richards and husband Ernie of Lockney, WV.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV, 26351 at 1:00 PM, Friday December 4, 2015 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedarville Cemetery, in Cedarville, WV. Family will be received friends from 5-8 PM Thursday Evening, December 3, 2015 the Mortuary.
