POND RUN MAN CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC BATTERY - Calhoun Men Charged Following Incidents

A Pond Run, Chloe, man has been charged by the State Police with domestic battery.

Joshua Robert Semler, 36, is in Central Regional Jail, following the incident where police say Semler pushed his fiance and caused her injury, alleging two incidents, the complaint saying it caused physical harm.

Semler is in Central Regional Jail.

Kenneth Roger Nicholas, 36, of Arnoldsburg was charged by the State Police with unlawfully making physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature.

Police, in a complaint, indicates that Nicholas drove to Roy Dennis' residence to complain about a loud muffler on the man's truck, after which the men exchanged words.

The complaint says that Nicholas has a piece of pipe, which he threw, striking Dennis' 13-year-old daughter in the leg. Nicholas is charged with battery.

A Big Bend man, Villy T. Hardway, 52, has been charged by the State Police with the assault of Dennis L. McCune.

The complaint says that Hardway followed McCune from Crummies Creek to State Rt. 16 and threatened him with bodily harm.
