Deloris Lee Rogers, 90 - Kent, Ohio

Deloris Lee Rogers, 90, of Kent, OH, passed away peacefully at home, on November 10, 2015, in the presence of loved ones.

The third of nine siblings, Deloris was born in Big Bend, WV on April 24, 1925 to Homer and Icy (Kemp) Jones of Big Bend, WV.

Deloris retired from Kroger Stores of Akron, OH in 1976. She often told the little ones, "I love you to the moon and back".

Preceding her in death was her husband, Virgil R. Rogers, of over fifty years, her parents, Homer and Icy Jones, sisters, Marge Zatik, Nancy Travis, Oleta Ferrell and brothers Cleo Jones and Denzil (Pete) Jones.

Deloris leaves to cherish her loving memory, sisters, Leona Yoak of Grantsville, WV, Joan Jones of Big Bend, WV, sister-in-law, Lenore (Sissy) Jones of Big Bend, WV, and brother James (Brenda) Jones of Winston Salem, NC, and very special friend, Nancy Williamson.

Deloris also leaves behind numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff of Altercare of Brimfield, and Harbor Light Hospice for their compassion and care of Deloris.

A celebration of her life will be Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Stump Funeral Home, 107 Market Street, Grantsville, WV 26147.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10-11:00 a.m. A memorial service will immediately follow with the Rev. Barry Skaggs officiating. Burial will take place at the Maze Family Cemetery in Munday, WV.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Deloris' name can be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 South Main St., Suite 7, Munroe Falls, OH 44262.
