Patricia A. (Hopkins) Bain, 68 - Sandyville

Patricia A. (Hopkins) Bain, 68, of Sandyville, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Jackson General Hospital.

Pat was born April 17, 1947, the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys (Hall) Hopkins.

She was a 1965 graduate of Wirt County High School. She was an active member of Independence Fellowship Church of Ravenswood W.Va. She enjoyed cross stitching and sewing.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ralph Bain; three sons, Alex (Paula) Bain of Carnesville WV, Eric (Julie) Bain of Kernersville NC and Troy (Amy) Bain of Evans WV; four grandchildren, Evan Bain, Andrew Bain, Addison Bain and Avery Bain; three brothers, D. Eugene (Genny) Hopkins of Parkersburg WV, Jerry (Kathy) Hopkins of Elizabeth WV and Kenny (Mary) Hopkins of Parkersburg; two sisters, Martha Slusher of Richmond VA and Carolyn (Newman, "Dinky") Longwell of Warren OH; three brothers-in-law, George (Chris) Bain of Ashville NC, Frank (Bertine) Bain of Iowa and Carol (Velma) Bain of PeeWee WV; four sisters-in-law, Judith (Eldon) Hess of Akron OH, Ester Bain, Lois (Dave) Rose of PeeWee, and Lola (Lee) Blair of Harmony WV; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Brooks.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Rev. Bernard McVey officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth.
