WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Huntington Drug Shootings

(11/04/2015)
TWO SHOT IN HUNTINGTON - Two people were hurt in what police say was a likely drug related shooting in Huntington Monday night.

Huntington Police Chief Joe Ciccarelli says that one of the people was shot in the chest and the other in the leg, one victim a man and the other a woman. Neighbors heard four gunshots.

Chief Ciccarell says both people are from Michigan.

At this time, no one has been arrested.

The report says the suspect fled west from the alley where the shooting happened.

WOMAN ARRESTED ON KNIFE CHARGE - A mother from Rand was arrested Tuesday on domestic assault charges in an incident involving a knife and her 3-week-old son.

Tiffany Nicole Mosley, 23, of Rand allegedly produced a knife during an argument with the baby's father.

Deputies say the couple began to argue as the child was being strapped into a car seat in a cruiser. They say Mosley produced a knife.

Mosley allegedly threatened to kill the man with a knife while she had her infant strapped to her chest in a carrier.

Deputies were able to grab the knife away from Mosley and throw it into a nearby yard.

They then secured the infant and arrested Mosley. The infant was not injured during the incident and has been released to the custody of his father.

Child Protective Services also was notified about the incident.
