Betty Jane Huffman, 76 - Walton

Betty Jane Huffman, 76, of Walton, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, West Virginia, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Betty was born September 27, 1939 in Walton, a daughter of the late Earl and Goldie Patrick Moore of Walton. She retired from B.F. Goodrich in Spencer and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Lee Huffman and a sister, Mary Moore.

She is survived by two sons, Freddie, Jr. and Larry (Billie Jo) Huffman, all of Walton; a daughter, Debra (Danny) Runnion of Spencer, West Virginia; grandchildren, Scott and Casey Huffman, both of Lexington, Kentucky and Addison and Brody Huffman, both of Walton; sisters, Georgia (Carl) Pence of Charleston, West Virginia and Joann (Webster) Larch of Walton; a special brother-in-law, Otmer (Retta) Huffman; and additional brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronald (Barb) Huffman, Connie (Bud) Westfall, Terry Huffman, Carolyn (Billy) Yateman, Kathy (David) DuPree, and Betty (Donald) Baker; and several special nieces and nephews.

Service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME in Spencer, with Rev. Jerry Board officiating. Burial will follow in the Droddy/Canterbury Cemetery in Walton. Visiting is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Betty's name to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
