GLAMOUR GIRLS HOLD MONTHLY "HOOT"

(11/12/2015)

The Glamour Girls, local chapter of the Red Hat Society, met at the "Y" Restaurant Friday, October 30th for a get together and had a great lunch.

They were also busy separating coats by size, that they were donating to the Arnoldsburg School.

After their lunch Lorraine Bailey (above right) and Waneta Boggs/Saunders, took the coats to the school for delivery and met with the principal, Charles Thomas.

Every year the gals do this, as their group project, they love to call "Coats for Kids". Thirty-seven coats were delivered, as well as hoodies, sweatpants and sweatshirts, tennis shoes, socks, etc.

The Glamour Girls wish to thank Ken Rodgers from New Jersey for sending 5 boxes of coats, along with the other items. Ken's family was from this area years ago and he just wanted to "help out". He certainly is "one of a kind", and the Red Hat Glamour Girls want to thank him from the bottom of their hearts! He is truly "an Angel in disguise".
