| Dessie "Orma" Conley Kiser, 74, of Spencer, West Virginia died October 26, 2015 at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
Orma was born August 16, 1941 in Parkersburg, West Virginia a daughter of the late Ison K. and Mary L. Miller Conley. She worked at the Bureau of Public Debt in Parkersburg for over 25 years and formerly worked at Kellwood Company and the phone and electric companies in Spencer. She was a longtime member of the Cherry Valley Church where she played the piano. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Sammie, quilting, crafts, and taking pictures.
She is survived by her husband, Lowell Thomas "Tom" Kiser; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Phyllis Kiser of Spencer; two sisters, Jean Epling and Eileen Matics, both of Spencer; two brothers, Larry and Vonnel Conley, both of Spencer; her special granddaughter, Sammie Kiser; and a grandson, Kris Hardman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorma Darlene Kiser; a sister, Sylvia Noreen Conley; and a brother, Kevin Craig Conley.
Services will be at 1:00pm Friday, October 30, 2015 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Revs. Larry Jones and Donald Cottrill officiating. Burial will be in the Gandeeville Cemetery. Visiting hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. |
