Steven Duane Meadows, 61, of Creston, WV, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his family farm. He was born January 24, 1954 in Elyria, Ohio, a son of Cora Mowery Boggs of Rootstown, Ohio and the late Dwight Meadows. He was owner and operator of Glacier Refrigeration and enjoyed fishing, Harley Davidson motorcycles, playing guitar, and playing pool. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, June J Meadows. One daughter, Ashley Crow (Kirk) of The Plains, Ohio; two sons, Steven D. Meadows Jr. (Mikki) of Shade, Ohio, and Wesley T. Meadows of Athens, Ohio; one sister Connie Smith (Gary) of Rootstown; two brothers, Lanny Meadows (Susie) and Gerald Meadows both of Creston; three grandchildren, Christopher Meadows, Miles Meadows, and Amelia Crow. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Christopher Meadows and his step-father, Charlie Boggs. Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike Street, south Parkersburg with Rev. Delmas Stutler officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ohio State Comprehensive Cancer Center, James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, 660 Ackerman Rd., P.O. Box 183112, Columbus Ohio 43128-3112 in Steven's memory.
