| POCA VALLEY BANK ROBBED - The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed bank robbery in Elkview.
The robbery was reported at Poca Valley Bank in the 5000 about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Metro 911 dispatchers say the suspected robber was armed with a black handgun.
They say he was wearing a tan or green long sleeve shirt with a camo Under Armor shirt overtop.
Dispatchers say the suspected robber took off running from the bank and went up the hill to the area behind the bank.
