Ruby B. Starcher, 90 - Spencer

Ruby B. Starcher, 90, of Spencer, West Virginia, died October 18, 2015, at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.

She was a former employee of Kellwood and a retired manager of the Dollar General Store, Spencer. She was also a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Spencer.

Mrs. Starcher enjoyed reading and sewing.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Bill Bush of Spencer; one grandson, Joey Bush of Big Chimney WV; two step granddaughters, Misty Ann Ancion of Sissonville WV and Kayla Marie Bryant of South Charleston WV; and six step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ada Tanner; husband, Bernard O. Starcher; son, Joseph Ray Starcher; brother, Wayne Reynolds.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Starcher Cemetery, Henry's Fork, Calhoun County. Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
