Reva I. Snodgrass, 95 - formerly of Spencer

Reva I. Snodgrass, 95, of Melbourne, Fla., formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, died October 18, 2015, at the Vitas Hospice at Courtenay Springs, Merritt Island, Florida.

She was a retired employee of the Spencer State Hospital and attended the Epling Chapel Baptist Church, Looneyville.

Survivors include her children, Ed Asbury, Patsy Sue Miller Shannon and Peggy Lou Kelly all of Melbourne FL; four sisters, Dorothy Keener and Glada Lanham both of Clay WV, Myrl Bailey of Spencer and Nancy Lambey of North Wilkesboro NC; two brothers, Bud Nelson of Valley City OH and Jerry Nelson of Clay; nine grandchildren, Allan Miller of Clover WV, Teresa Kelly Moscrip, Missy Miller, Chris Kelly and Bob Miller all of Melbourne FL, Mike Asbury of Chicago IL, Dr. Mindy Asbury of Durham NC, Zak Wines of Ripley WV and Breanna Fouty of Parkersburg WV; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; honorary children, Fred Boothe of Sissonville WV and Jane Craddock of Barboursville WV.

Reva was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Asbury and Frank Snodgrass; children, Michael Thomas Asbury and Frankie Jane Wines Fouty; sisters, Madeline Adams and Catherine Thorn Barger; brother, Virgle Nelson.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
