Wilma M. Saare, 92 - formerly of Spencer

Wilma M. Saare, 92, of Claremore, Okla., formerly of Spencer WV, died August 26, 2015, at the Wood Manor Senior Care and Rehab, Claremore OK. She was born August 31, 1922 at Steinort, Ostpreuben a daughter of the late Willy and Magadlene Burgemeister Perkuhn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harro Georg Saare on May 3, 2002; three brothers, Willy, Werner and Ernst Perkuhn; and two sisters, Herta Albrecht and Alice Perkuhn. Mrs. Saare was a homemaker and mother. She grew up on a farm in Prussia and loved flower gardening. She was a former resident of Hoboken NJ. She was a member of the Lutheran Church. Survivors include her son, George W. Saare of Claremore OK: daughter and son-in-law, Ingrid and David Holm of Amherst MA. A graveside service was held Sunday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with local arrangements.
