Franklin Clifford Lacy, 74 - Big Bend

Franklin Clifford Lacy, 74, of Big Bend, WV passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville, WV.

He was born September 7, 1941, a son of the late George Hunter Lacy, Sr. and the late Monteray Runyon Lacy.

He loved to help others; he was very selfless. He loved to take care of deer and turkeys. He was very much into God's Great Outdoors. He was very creative with operating equipment as well as making changes to it.

He is survived by daughters, Collen Stewart and Vicky Ray Parsons; sons, Franklin Lacy, Jr. and Christopher Noel Lacy; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Rankin, Doris Heflin, Lydia Brooks, and Brenda Henshaw; and brothers, Raymond Lacy, William Lacy, and Jimmy Williams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Flora Carlson Lacy; sisters, Lillian Jones, Rose Spears, and Peggy Masner; and brothers, George Hunter Lacy, Jr. and Garrett Lacy.

Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Barry Skaggs officiating. Visitation will be held from noon-2:00 p.m. prior to service. Interment will be at Big Bend Cemetery.
