Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the Sheridan and Rozella Saunders Snyder. She was a member of Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church of Grantsville.

Surviving are three sons, Donald Hosey of Lucasville, Harold (Dick) Hosey of Pheonix, AZ and Boyd Hosey of Bainbridge, Ohio; four sisters, Sophia Smith of Tampa, FL, Ruth Baum of Williamstown, WV, Emma Alton of Marietta, Ohio and Josephine Dean of Gould, AR; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Hosey; 2 sisters, Nell Ferrell and Maria Rose; 3 brothers, Russell, Blaine and Lester Snyder.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Reverend Mary Zimmer will officiate. Interment will be in the Betts Cemetery, Grantsville.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
