The CGCC Business Students attended the FBLA-PBL Fall Leadership Conference at the Days Hotel in Flatwoods, WV on October 5-6.

FBLA [Future Business Leaders of America] is a national organization with more than 200,000 members nationwide.

During the conference, students attended workshops on various business related issues like Effective Communication, Career Development, Dance Your Way to Success, and Ziegenfelder Pops! Ice Cream Company, etc.

Students also took competitive practice tests to help prepare them for competitions in the spring.

That evening students were treated to a nice formal dinner, a dance and minute to win it games, battle of the chapters and a scavenger hunt for entertainment.

On Tuesday students attended more workshops on competitive testing. Overall, the students had a really good time and are looking forward to attending the state competition conference in April.

Students and advisor would like to thank all those businesses that have supported FBLA in any way.
