DOMESTIC DISPUTE WITH ALLEGED BAT SENDS POLICE AND AMBULANCES TO RUSH RUN

Two State Police units and two MHHS ambulances responded to what was reported as a domestic dispute on the Right Fork of Rush Run (Orma) at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday. The incident reported to be at the Wears residence, with a person allegedly wielding a bat. The ambulances were summoned for a 16-year-old female who was reported to be injured and a 35-year-old female suffering from chest pains. The two females were transported to Roane General. State Police are investigating the incident.
