WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Daughter Shoots Mom

(10/16/2015)
SHOOTS MOM WITH BB GUN - A Morgantown woman was arrested and charged with unlawful wounding after allegedly shooting her mother in the neck with a BB gun.

Monica Sites, 26, was in her yard shooting her BB gun when her mother and step-father drove down Beulah Road, according to West Virginia State Police.

A fight ensued, and Sites shot her mother in the neck with the BB gun, leaving a large welt on her throat. Her mother was transported from the scene in an ambulance.

Sites told police the fight started because her mother and step-father have been harassing her because she refuses to sleep with her step-father.

Sites is currently in the North Central Regional Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.

PHARMACY HEIST - Monongalia County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an armed robbery at 12:20 p.m. Thursday at a CVS Pharmacy.

The suspect is in custody, but was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital from a suspected drug overdose and will be charged with armed robbery when he is released from the hospital. According to a press release, a white male wearing a WVU hoodie and blue jeans with a scar on his left cheek approached the counter and demanded Xanax, Oxycodone, amphetamines, other medications and indicated he had a weapon.

He then fled on foot with the stolen medication.

Deputies caught up with him a short time after in the Pineview Drive area.

The suspects name will be released once charges are filed.
