Ronald Eugene Tanner, 68 - Walker

Ronald Eugene Tanner, 68, of Walker WV went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2015. He was born July 23, 1947 in Parkersburg, WV the son of the late Melvin Elwood and Elvaunda "Bonnie" (Corbitt) Tanner. He was a 1965 graduate of Parkersburg High School. He served in the United State Air Force, and retired from Elkem Metals and Buchannan's Body Shop, he loved being outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his children, Michael Tanner of Parkersburg WV and Angela (Duane) West of Vienna WV; sisters, Linda (Bryan) Deem of Florida and Karen Tanner of Kentucky; grandchildren, Levi Thomas, Grace West, Megan West, and Christian West; special friends, Edward and Debra Lockhart of Palestine WV, Ron Tucker and family of Walker, John Rost and family of Walker, Earl and Marie Sprouse of Walker. Memorial Service will be held by the family at a later date. Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV are assisting the Tanner family.
