Michael Bruce "Mike" Adams, 61 - Sand Fork

Michael Bruce "Mike" Adams, 61, of Sand Fork, West Virginia departed this life in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at his residence following a short illness.

He was born September 19, 1954, in Gilmer County, WV, a son of the late Roy B. and Vera Moyers Adams.

Mike was employed by Horizon Energy in Sand Fork and was a carpenter for Spaur Brothers. He enjoyed farming, fishing, softball, and spending time with his grandson, Jayden. He was also a Baptist by faith.

He was united in marriage to Annabelle Wimer Adams who survives at their Sand Fork home.

Also surviving, one daughter, Terrie Wimer of Glenville; one grandson, Jayden of Glenville; one brother, Shannon Adams (Debby) of Glenville; nephews Matt Adams (Rachel) of Glenville, Casey Adams of Letter Gap and Jason Bailey (Shanda) of Glenville; nieces, Amanda Segsworth (John) of S. Charleston several great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Brenda K. Adams and Coleen Reaser; two brothers, Bernard Lee "PeeWee" Adams and Homer Lee Rogers II.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Dr., Glenville, WV at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Fork Cemetery.
