GRANTSVILLE WATERLINE FLUSHING SCHEDULED - Recommendations For Customers Flushing

The Town of Grantsville will be flushing water lines during the week of October 12. The flushing will take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. The flushing program helps maintain flow capacity and water quality in the distribution system, removing impurities associated with new and repaired mains, and helps eliminate taste, odors and discolorations. The temporary discoloration of the water can quickly be eliminated by flushing water through the users plumbing. Recommended places to flush is bathtubs and outside spigots.
