WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Drug Deals Gone Bad, Homecoming Gun Threats

PARKERSBURG DRUG DEAL GONE BAD - Parkersburg Police say it happened at the former Taco Bell on Pike Street.

Police said two 20-year-olds, Joseph Rice and Codi Douglas were selling drugs to 20-year-old Clayton Fleak when Douglas shot Fleak in the face with one round from a pistol.

Officials say the two suspects fled the scene and after 6 hours of searching, police arrested both Rice and Douglas at Washington, WV.

HUNTINGTON HEIST - Huntington Police are trying to identify a woman who robbed a Speedway.

Police say the woman pulled out a knife and demanded money from the register, got the cash and ran from the store.

Police released two sets of surveillance pictures from the store. The first set of pictures was taken about a half hour before the robbery.

WESTON TEEN ARRESTED OVER GUN THREAT TO SCHOOL - A 19-year-old man Weston resident was arrested after deputies said he threatened to bring a gun to the Lewis County High School Homecoming Dance and shoot a ex-girlfriend and others in attendance.

Justin Lattea is charged with threats of terrorist acts after his ex-girlfriend said he called her and said he would "show up with a gun and raise hell and make a big scene" if she went to the dance, according to the Lewis County Sheriff's Department.

The homecoming dance was locked down and Lattea was arrested.

Lattea told deputies he did not make those threats and that his brother had a handgun in their residence but it was not loaded.

MAN ROBS STORE - An armed robbery at a Monongalia County convenient store by a 6'0 tall thin, white man walked into the store, pulled a gun from under his jacket and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbery happened at Circle K on Dorsey Avenue.

STATE POLICE KILL GEORGIA MURDER SUSPECT - Last week a suspect in a Georgia murder was shot and killed by state police along the West Virginia Turnpike near Beckley.

The shooting took place following a pursuit, said West Virginia State Police Spokesman Lt. Michael Baylous said. The man exited his vehicle northbound near the North Beckley exit with a weapon.

30 SHOTS DO DAMAGE - An investigation is underway after 30 shots rung out in Bluefield, Mercer County.

Police said thousands of dollars worth of damage was done to Cole Harley Davidson Dealership.

One man said he thinks it could have been drug related.
