A Clay County man received some burns after his house caught on fire Friday at 4 p.m., according to fire officials. Bob Tanner, who lived alone and reportedly suffered from medical problems, was taken to a hospital. The house was a total loss. The structure was just off Rt. 16 south of the Calhoun line, near Nebo. The Big Otter and Upper West Fork VFDs responded to the fire. |
