FIRE STRIKES ABANDONED HOUSE IN SPENCER MONDAY NIGHT

Fire erupted in an abandoned house on Lynn Street in Spencer Monday night about 10:30 p.m. The Spencer-Roane VFD quickly brought the blaze under control. The fire threatened an adjacent house, also abandoned. The structures were located just off State Route 14. The Clover VFD also responded to the call.
