RT. 16 BLOCKED AT JACKSON HILL CURVE - Traffic Backed, Detour Route, Responders On Scene

3 PM - Traffic on Route 16 near Five Forks is completely blocked by tractor-trailers being stuck in the U-turn on Jackson Hill. The trucks are carrying heavy equipment, with telephone lines reportedly down. Traffic has already backed up a long distances on both sides of the incident. The Grantsville VFD responded to the incident with law enforcement. Detouring is possible via Kilpstine Road and Nobe Road. In previous incidents, clearing the trucks takes a considerable time.
