Wanda Kathern Radcliff, 69 - Linn

Wanda Kathern Radcliff, 69, of Linn, West Virginia, (Ellis Road Community), departed this life at 7:38 p.m., September 11, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness.

Born July 20, 1946 in Vadis, West Virginia, Wanda was the daughter of the late Lee and Evalene Lowther Keesecker.

Wanda was a graduate of Lewis County High School. She worked at Colonial Glass in Weston until she decided to be a stay at home mom. Wanda attended the Upper Ellis Methodist Church.

This is what she was, a caregiver to family and friends, always thinking of others before herself.

Wanda lived everyday for her family. This is why she courageously fought a 5 year battle with cancer. She fought not for herself, but for her loved ones.

On April 11, 1969, she was united in marriage to William "Hoy" Radcliff, who survives at their Ellis Road home. While battling cancer, beside her every step of the way was her loving husband of 46 years.

Surviving are 2 children, Susan Keith and husband Jeff and Robert Radcliff and wife Kelly of Linn, WV; 3 grandchildren, Roberta Radcliff of Sand Fork, William Radcliff of Morgantown, and Kathern Keith of Linn, 1 great grandchild, Myla Radcliff of Sand Fork, 1 son by heart, Cale Shackleford of Linn and 3 siblings, Karen Shackleford of Linn, Burl Keesecker of Glenville, and Merle Shackleford of Vadis.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2015 with Chaplin Bryon Bukovesky officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiney Cemetery on Ellis Road. Friends and family may call from 5-9 p.m. Sunday evening at the Mortuary.
