BRINGING IN THE BUCKS - A Few Big Racks Checked

At least two 10-point bucks were checked at Holbert's Store at Big Bend and a 10-point buck belonging to Robert Nemitz and a 8-point buck belonging to Danny Yoak, checked at Parson's One Stop on Pleasant Hill. It was opening day of gun season for the critters, and hundreds and hundreds of hunters took to the woods and fields of Calhoun, and around the state. At least one hunting accident was reported in the county.
