TRUCK-CAR HEAD-ON COLLISION WEST OF GRANTSVILLE - Vehicle Appears To Have Crossed Line, Motorcyclists Crash At Sand Ridge

Injuries were received in a truck-car collision Sunday morning on Rt. 5 just west of Grantsville. It appeared the driver of a car crossed the yellow line and crashed head-on with the other vehicle. Minnie Hamilton EMS took one or more to Minnie Hamilton Health System. The Grantsville VFD responded to the 10:05 a.m. crash. State Police are investigating the cause of the accident. A motorcyclist wrecked on US 33/119 just east of Sand Ridge Saturday evening at 4 p.m. A man and women received some injuries, at least one was taken to a Parkersburg hospital by Minnie Hamilton EMS for evaluation and treatment. The accident happened in an area that has caused problems for bikers over the years.
