THREATENS STAFF WITH KNIFE - A Chapmanville man is behind bars charged with terroristic threats after allegedly threatening Thomas Memorial Hospital staff with a knife. Police were dispatched to the hospital early Sunday morning. When officers got on scene, hospital staff pointed out Darrin Stollings who was in front of a vehicle in the parking lot across from the emergency room.

Workers told police Stollings' wife was in the emergency room and wanted to leave, but it was against policy to let her leave due to her medical condition.

They say Stollings threatened to beat workers and said he had "something at home for them." He also pulled out a pocket knife.

Stollings was arrested and taken to the South Central Regional Jail.
