UPDATE - State Police arrested Travis Sampson, 28, Wednesday night following a dispute in the Walker-Gibson Road area, just inside Clay County. Sampson is in Central Regional Jail, charged with possession of a deadly weapon, cultivation of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance. Reports said that Sampson was threatening to kill three individuals in a household, reportedly with a weapon, with State Police units from several counties dispatched to the scene. ORIGINAL STORY 8/19 -State Police units from multiple counties, including Calhoun, responded to a 911 call from the Walker-Gibson Road area in Clay County, near the Calhoun line at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The complainant said that a man was threatening to kill three individuals in a household, where his girlfriend was located. Family members indicated the individual was likely under the influence of drugs. Police found the subject in a mobile home near the residence were he made the threats. The man was taken into custody to the Clay Detachment for processing. Earlier State Police responded to a domestic dispute involving a teenage boy on Klipstine Road. |
