| "BLOW YOUR HEAD OFF' - Moundsville authorities are investigating an armed robbery in which the clerk said the suspect pointed a gun at her face and threatened to "blow her head off" if she didn't give up the cash.
The incident took place about 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Moundsville Mountaineer Club. The clerk at the cafe told media her niece and baby were visiting the store when a man came in with a gun, pointed it at her face and threatened to shoot her if she didn't give up the money. The man then went behind the counter and took off with the cash. Investigators said he got into a car and that vehicle has been tracked down. Police detained a few people about a mile from the café, but no arrests have been made. BECKLEY MURDER - A 22-year-old man is dead after an early morning shooting in Beckley. Police are seeking three unidentified black men in their investigation after the shooting. They believe the motive was robbery. Police found the victim, originally from Detroit, Michigan, with multiple gunshot wounds shortly after midnight. He passed away at a local hospital. His name has not yet been released.
