The Little Kanawha Longbeards chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation bought 50 turkey breasts that will be
distributed in Calhoun and Gilmer counties. The turkeys will be given to needy families, and MHHCC Long Term Care unit
will
use the turkeys for the residents Thanksgiving dinner.
Assisting with the distribution were Community Resources, Inc., the
Domestic Abuse Response Team, and Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.
Brad Lay, chapter president, stated that he hopes the turkeys make a positive difference this Thanksgiving. If you would like
