Mary Alice Wyatt Dye, 59 - Spencer

Mary Alice Wyatt Dye, 59, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Miletree Center in Spencer.

She was born August 12, 1955 in Roane County, a daughter of the late Carl and Ora Mae Batten Wyatt.

She formerly worked at the Spencer State Hospital and the William R. Sharpe Jr. Hospital in Weston, West Virginia, enjoyed animals, gardening, and her grandchildren, and was a 1974 graduate of Spencer High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Allison Faye Smith; two sisters, Judy Wyatt and Barbara Craft; and a brother, Carlos Wyatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Koon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Spencer. Burial of the cremains will follow in the Hebron Cemetery near Spencer.

There will be a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service at the church. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements for the family.
