"RUN FOR RAEGEN" MEMORIAL RAISES MONEY FOR CALHOUN KIDS

A day of honor, a day of giving The 2nd Annual Run for Raegen Event was held Saturday at the Arnoldsburg Community Park, the event is in memory of Raegen Reese McKown of Beech, who tragically died before her time. "We will remember a beautiful child that lived only enough to know love and happiness," said family members. The fundraiser was well attended, with all proceeds going to Calhoun County Schools to benefit the children of the community. The proceeds from the 1st annual Run for Raegen were used for a dome theatre at Pleasant Hill elementary school and all students from Arnoldsburg Elementary went to the Clay Center in Charleston. Saturday's event include everything from a run, to volleyball tournaments and a cornhole tournament.
