NEW VACCINE REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOOL KIDS

Kids will be heading back to school soon. A relatively new law requires children entering 7th grade to have proof of Tdap given after the age of 12. Kids entering 12th grade are required to have a meningitis vaccine after the age of 16. If you have a child entering kindergarten, an oral health form is now required to be signed by a dentist within the last year. A large percentage of WV children have not or cannot access dental care.
