Benjamin Denzil Settle, 70 - Parkersburg

Benjamin Denzil Settle, 70, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg.

He was born in Calhoun County on July 24, 1944, a son of the late Otho and Goldie Campbell Settle.

He is survived by wife, Deborah Ann Settle; sons Mike Settle and wife of Belpre, Ohio and Mark Settle and wife of Fredricksburg, VA; daughter, Connie Settle Brant and husband of Sunbury, Ohio; brothers, Seymour Settle and wife of Walker, WV; George Settle and wife of Elizabeth, WV; and Charles Settle of Marietta, Ohio; sister, Aretta "Ret" Schoolcraft of Glenville, WV; and five grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Addeline Snider; Idell Goff; Audra Walters; and Ona Paxton; brothers, Lee Roy Settle; Virgil Suttle; and Shearl Settle.

Funeral services will be at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ian Reid officiating. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. on Monday. Interment will be in Collins Community Cemetery, Stumptown.

In lieu of flowers, the Settle family requests donations be made in memory of Benjamin Settle to Hospice.
