PRE-TRIAL HEARING FOR TRIO WITH THEFT CHARGES - Circuit Court In Session Thursday

Darren Nicholas Parsons, 24, Justin Lee Knight, 26, and George Nicholas Parsons, 41, will appear in Calhoun Circuit Court Thursday for a pre-trial hearing related to multiple thefts around the county.

Judge David W. Nibert will open court in Grantsville at 10 a.m.

The various charges are related to the theft of a tractor from Larry Burrows, a trailer from Steve Satterfield and gasoline from Triad.

According to an indictment, George Nicholas Parsons is charged with stealing 106 gallons of gasoline from Triad Oil and Gas on Altizer Road.

Darren Nicholas Parsons is charged in Wood County with the hit and run death of a 15-year-old Parkersburg boy, charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing the death of Cody Philpot.

He was also charged in Wood County with the theft of 13 batteries from two locations, which he then sold at a recycling center, according to a criminal complaint.

Page L. Forth, 60, will appear for a pre-trial hearing, Forth was indicted on one count of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, a felony.

- State vs. February Michelle Williams, pre-trial.

- State vs. Leon E. Kerby II, sentencing.

- State vs. Joshua Thomas Slider, sentencing.

- State vs. Corey Metheney, pre-trial.

- Four juvenile cases.
